Have Your Say on the Future of Nature in St Paul’s

What would make St Paul’s a better place for nature? More trees? Spaces for wildlife? Community gardens? Greener streets? Better habitats for birds, bees and butterflies?

As part of Cheltenham Gardens for Nature, we’re inviting everyone who lives or works in St Paul’s to join an informal conversation about the future of nature in the neighbourhood.

Hosted by St Paul’s ward councillors Tabi Joy and Ashleigh Davies, with support from Cheltenham Action for Nature, Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust and local volunteers, this drop-in session is an opportunity to share ideas, ask questions and explore what could be possible if we work together.

There’ll be no presentations, no speeches and no formal consultation – just friendly conversation and a chance to hear from the people who know St Paul’s best.

Whether your ideas are big or small, we’d love to hear them. You might be passionate about community growing, wildlife-friendly planting, greener streets, places for children to experience nature or simply making it easier for wildlife to thrive in everyday spaces.

Alongside the discussion, visitors can also add their thoughts to our Plant Your Ideas for Nature display, helping to grow a collection of ideas that could inspire future projects in St Paul’s.

The session is part of a packed day celebrating the incredible difference gardens can make for nature. Across The Greenhouse and School House Café you’ll also find expert talks, a guided plant walk, a pop-up nature garden, hands-on family activities, community stalls, a plant sale and swap, free bike repairs and plenty of practical inspiration to take home.
