Cheltenham Gardens for Nature is just around the corner, and we’re excited to share a preview of what’s happening.
Tickets will be available to book from Monday 20 July via the Gardens for Nature page on our website. Some activities have limited places, so we’d recommend booking early.
A day celebrating nature
Whether you’re a keen gardener, have a small courtyard or simply want to help wildlife where you live, there’s something for everyone.
Talks
- 10.00am – How to Garden for Wildlife in Outdoor Spaces Large and Small with Claire Piper
- 1.00pm – Working With Your Garden’s Natural Ecology with ecologist Charlotte O’Neill
- 2.30pm – Nature-Friendly Gardening Q&A – bring your questions for our expert panel.
Wild About Plants
Join us at 11.15am for a guided walk around St Paul’s and discover the surprising variety of wild plants growing on our doorsteps.
Nature Hub
Visit the Nature Hub at School House Café throughout the day, where you’ll find local organisations, displays, stalls and children’s activities.
Let’s Talk Nature
Outside the café, explore our Pop-Up Nature Garden, where local gardeners, ecologists, growers and wildlife enthusiasts will be hosting relaxed 30-minute drop-in sessions throughout the day.
Chat about everything from butterflies and bird boxes to compost, wildlife ponds, growing your own and creating habitats for nature.
