Whether you have a windowsill full of pots, a patio, a wildlife-friendly garden or simply want to learn more about helping nature where you live, Cheltenham Gardens for Nature is a free event packed with inspiration for everyone.
Taking place on Saturday 8 August at The Greenhouse and Schoolhouse Cafe in St. Pauls, the event will bring together local experts, community groups and wildlife enthusiasts for a day of talks, guided walks, family activities and practical demonstrations exploring how our gardens can play a vital role in supporting nature.
From creating habitats for pollinators and birds to choosing plants that benefit wildlife, visitors will discover simple ideas that can make a real difference – whatever the size of their outdoor space.
There will also be opportunities to meet local organisations, chat with experienced gardeners, take part in hands-on activities and pick up practical tips to try at home.
The event is part of the Cheltenham Gardens for Nature project, which aims to celebrate the town’s gardens while encouraging more people to create connected spaces where wildlife can thrive.
Everyone is welcome, whether you’re an experienced gardener, just starting out, or simply curious about how gardens can support nature.
The event is free to attend. More information, including the full programme, will be available soon.
